IOSH accredited Safety Management in the Rope Access and Work at Height Industry

At High Q in Brisbane, on the 24th and 25th June, 2023, we’re running the IOSH accredited Safety Management in the Rope Access and Work at Height Industry.

This is a benchmark health and safety competence for those Managers and Supervisors who are responsible for rope access and work at height projects. The course aims to address those areas of competence that are detailed in the IRATA ICOP and ISO 22846, and that are not currently addressed by the IRATA Level 3 training scheme. Particular emphasis will be on planning work, to ensure that candidates are meeting their legal requirements and can follow established best practice.

In short, this course addresses important aspects of your job as a rope access supervisor that aren't covered in the IRATA Level 3. You'll walk away confident that you understand what your legal obligations are that you have the skills and knowledge to meet those obligations.

Karl Raby will be presenting the course;

As a former Chairman of IRATA and current IRATA Auditor and Assessor, I am passionate about improving safety and performance in the rope access industry. I have worked with Work Cover Queensland, the Health and Safety Executive in the UK, and conducted serious incident audits for IRATA, and bring a wealth of real-life experience to make the subject relatable for delegates.
