Safety Management in the Rope Access and Work at Height Industry

Prepare to enhance your safety expertise in the rope access and working at height industry with a comprehensive two-day IOSH Safety Management course. This engaging program will be led by industry authority Karl Raby, the director of High PL.

In recent times, a surge in serious incidents within the rope access field has drawn regulatory attention. The UK's Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Queensland Workplace Health and Safety, and The National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) have all shared their concern with industry, emphasizing the need for improvements in the following domains:
Effective planning, organization, and control of industrial rope access to establish secure work systems.
Supervision, competence, and consideration of human and organizational factors during rope access operations.
Rigorous audit, vigilant monitoring, and thorough compliance review aligned with acknowledged best practices.

To fulfil this industry demand, High Q UK has designed a benchmark 2 day health and safety competence program tailored for Managers and Supervisors overseeing rope access industry.

This course directly addresses the focal areas identified by the HSE and aligns with the competence requisites outlined in the IRATA ICOP and ASNZS ISO 22846. Notably, this course bridges gaps that the current IRATA Level 3 training doesn't encompass. We prioritise effective project planning, ensuring candidates not only meet their legal responsibilities but also adhere to established best practices.
This course has earned approval from the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Successfully completing this program will earn you a prestigious IOSH certificate.
